When you add milk it turns a lovely golden colour, which is do like my tea at to be able to hold it own against the milk. The smell is as divine as divine gets for an Assam tea, beautiful tea smell with a bit of a malted biscuit (type of cookie for the Americans) type smell. The flavour is as divine as the smell, if not more so. This tea was brewed with 100c water for 5mins in a teapot with removable leaf holder and strainer. There’s little astringency in this Assam which surprised me as most Assam I’ve had have had an astringent note to them but not this one. I’m one that does like the astringency but I do think the actual flavour of the tea makes that a non issue. Overall I’m extremely impressed by this tea and after drinking Assam for years this is by far the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this tea and say give it a shot, and it’s worth the price which i think is a fair one. Also, I think these caddy’s look excellent with the bright coloured label and a plain bushed steel caddy." Blogger review.
\r
The benefits of loose leaf tea
\r
\r
This Assam Mangalam tea is a carefully sourced tea chosen for its distinctive, balanced flavour.
\r
Loose leaf tea enables the full flavour characteristics of the tea to infuse.
\r
Assam Mangalam tea is chosen for its high grade which imparts the flavour and aroma characteristics for which this tea is best known.
\r
A little patience is required when infusing large leaf grades but you will be rewarded with a superior, more balanced cup.
\r
\r
Which size to choose
\r
\r
There are several packing options: 60grams, 125grams and 250grams - the standard being of 125 grams in a packet.
\r
You can select packets or a tin caddy with hinged lid which can be selected from the drop-down options.
\r
Our silver-coloured packets are a triple laminate of paper, foil and cellophane, specifically designed for tea.
\r
\r
How to look after this tea
\r
\r
Store the tea with care: ensure it is stored air-tight, away from heat, light, moisture and strong aromas.
\r
Our standard best-before is one year.
\r
\r
Delivery options
\r
\r
Our standard shipping is second class post unless you choose an alternative option.
\r
Free UK shipping is available for orders over £30 and free first class post can be chosen for orders over £50.
\r
At the checkout you may choose to receive a free, full-colour, eight-page guide to our tea.
\r
\r
For more information about buying our loose leaf teas see our page How to Buy the Best Loose Leaf Tea.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/6691/9292/files/Black-Assam-Mangalam-3_775b5147-13e2-4f55-884f-1207e265f18b.jpg?v=1772290212
assam-organic-tea-jamguri-tgfop1
Assam organic tea Jamguri TGFOP1

\r
Assam Jamguri organic tea TGFOP1: loose leaf Assam.
\r
Has a good malty richness with a certain cocoa aroma without excessive body.
\r
The richness of this high-grade Assam makes it ideal at breakfast.
\r
Located in the Golaghat District of Upper Assam.
\r

Assam organic tea Jamguri TGFOP1: produced in the Golaghat District of Assam.
\r
Assam organic tea Jamguri TGFOP1 has a good malty richness with a certain cocoa aroma without excessive body.
