Assam First Flush Sree Sibbari Gold Wire 2018: A rare tea.
Grown on the upper Assam plateau this highly acclaimed garden has for 2018 produced a rare Assam First Flush which is tippy, long-leafed, neat with a brown-black leaf. The characteristic Assam maltiness is apparent but it has an attractive lightness with a liquorice note. It is brisk yet not astringent. Infuse for four minutes with freshly boiled water. Best drunk without milk.
