Traditional Tea Collection: four loose leaf teas
This speciality, traditional Tea Collection comprises teas renown to give you the best drink of the day…
Ceylon Kenilworth. Kenilworth OP holds the record for the top price bid over Colombo’s 125 year auction history. Selected tender leaves are picked after the first monsoon and are then processed in cooler weather resulting in Kenilworth’s unique creamy character.
Darjeeling Margaret’s Hope. Margaret’s Hope tea is probably the most famous of Darjeeling’s gardens. Established in 1865 it is at an altitude of up to 5000 ft. near to Kurseong. The greeny brown leaf produces a light, floral tea with the distinctive muscatel taste of a really good Darjeeling.
Assam Harmutty. One of the best gardens in Assam, established in 1870. Harmutty is a well made, tippy tea producing a well rounded, smooth cup with an earthy foresty character.
Keemun Mao Feng. From Anhui province, this imperial grade Keemun, picked in March and April, has a natural orchid character and depth. Its long wiry leaf is a wonderful example of the art of China tea making.
