Christmas Tea Collection: a selection of classic, loose black tea favourites with traditional flavourings
Our Christmas tea collection comprises the following four teas uniquely packed in silver tins. They will certainly contribute towards a very happy Christmas!
Winter Warmer: Our spiced tea smells good and tastes delicious. It has just the warming reassurance you need on a cold winter’s evening. Our winter warmer Christmas Tea is made with black China tea combined with citrus peels and cloves; perfect, especially at Christmas. Use one teaspoon per cup and one for the pot with freshly boiling water and infuse for three minutes. Do not use milk.
Orange with Spices: Orange with Spices is a wonderful tea when you are feeling cold. Distinctly orange without too much sweetness, having a lovely combination of warming spices. Makes you think nostalgically of mid winter even if it is not! 91% China Black Tea 6% Orange Peel coarse cut 3% Cut Cloves & Spice Sweet Orange & Clove Flavouring. Use one teaspoon per cup and one for the pot with freshly boiling water and infuse for three minutes.
Masala Chai: Originating from India, this richly aromatic, spiced Masala Chai loose tea is made from black tea flavoured with cinnamon, cloves and cardamom pods. It makes a lovely warming cup, taken with sugar and milk if desired. Conventionally made, the tea is boiled with sugar and milk for up to 30 minutes. For a contemporary infusion use one teaspoon per cup and one for the pot and infuse with fresh boiling water for five minutes. Pure bliss!
Rose Congou: this traditional China tea is produced by layering freshly picked rose petals with black tea. The petals are then removed and fresh ones added until the required intensity of flavour is produced. Having a subtle rose aroma the infusion is rich and bronze with little tannin. It is deeply and unmistakably rose on the palate without sweetness. Use one teaspoon per cup and one for the pot with freshly boiling water and infuse for three minutes. Lovely. Serve without milk.
As you can see, our Christmas tea collection has compelling aromas and superb flavours that makes it a great gift to tea lovers who appreciate something a little different!
