Description

Nilgiri organic tea: Thiashola TGFOP grade.

Thiashola is the oldest of Nilgiri's tea gardens having been established in 1859. In 2003 it was amongst the first to be certified organic. This Nilgiri organic tea is TGFOP grade and has a noticeably a reddish hue. The liquor is classically light, with a fragrant and brisk, refreshing character that explains why those in the know are so devoted to this excellent tea. Use one teaspoon per cup and one for the pot with freshly boiled water. Best with only a little milk, it can be drunk without.

Amazing tea "This Nilgiri tea is one of the best teas I have ever tasted. Quite strong, and a very good alternative to Assam or English breakfast."

A light, sparkling tea, easy to drink at any time "A refreshing tea for any time of day or night, lightly fragrant, producing a clear red/amber liquor. Good also for picnics, not needing  milk. Superior to other Nilgiri species."

"It's a very good tea - medium bodied and refreshing. I usually do not drink it in the morning as it's not that strong to give you a lively kick at the start of the day, but it makes a perfect afternoon tea."

Very smooth and enjoyable  "The leaf has a reddy hue giving a light brown colour in the cup. The armoa is typically Nilgiri with some aspects being very similar to Darjeeling. The taste is very distinctly Nilgiri. A very smooth and enjoyable tea to be drunk anytime of the day."

"Good for anytime of day, from early morning to picnics.Golden amber for the late night drink with a mellow flavour distinct from other teas. A bright, crisp flavour for the morning."
