The Assam Harmutty garden was established in 1870 and located in the Brahmaputra valley of Assam. This mid-season is a well made, tippy tea producing a well rounded, smooth cup with an earthy foresty character. It has enough astringency to make for a compelling start to a day. Use one teaspoon per person and one for the pot. Use freshly boiled water and infuse for four minutes.
