Here we have chosen four of our most popular black teas which we consider ideal for those who wish to discover a selection of single-origin black teas, rather than blended teas. This collection can form the basis for trying other black teas in due course.Assam Dikom. This is a well made Assam with a wiry leaf and traditional malty, yet light flavour. Dikom is considered one of Assam's best tea estates. Brew for five minutes.Ceylon Dimbula Edinburgh OP.This large leaf Orange Pekoe grade Dimbula is produced in the south-western corner of Sri Lanka's central mountains. Dimbula is noted for its body, strength and a robust aroma. Edinburgh has a full, round flavour yet a light liquor.Keemun Dahlia. Keemun is grown in Anhui Province and is a 'gongfu' tea requiring disciplined skill to produce thin tight strips. It produces a rich liquor with a slightly scented flavour and delicate aroma. Keemun is the most famous of China's black teas and, due to its subtle and complex nature, it is considered the "Burgundy of teas".Darjeeling Margaret's Hope FTGFOP. The greeny brown leaf produces a light, floral tea with the distinctive muscatel taste of a really good Darjeeling. Infuse for four minutes with freshly boiled water.
