This green Darjeeling tea is a superior quality 'Champagne of teas' in an attractive and healthy green form. The Rohini garden which lies at up to 6000 feet altitude above lake Rohini in the Kurseong valley. It is a long established garden which has been replanted with new high quality Chinese tea stock so these bushes are still in their youth. This fine Darjeeling has a gentle chocolaty aroma and a delicate muscatel flavour, typical of a good Darjeeling. Use one teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water that has come off the boil for a couple of minutes. Infuse for three minutes.

Sourcing our tea

This green Darjeeling tea has been chosen for its distinctive, balanced flavour, aroma and appearance. Our tea is carefully sourced from long-established shippers. We can therefore guarantee the quality and origin of each tea and that it conforms to UK food and drink health regulations and our own demanding grading requirements.

The benefits of loose leaf tea

This loose leaf tea enables the full flavour characteristics of the tea to infuse. This tea is chosen for its high grade which imparts the flavour and aroma characteristics for which this tea is best known. A extra time is necessary when infusing large leaf grades but you will be rewarded with a superior, more balanced cup. You will be well rewarded for your patience!

  5. Rouslan Partyka

    Product: Tasteless.
Service: Incredibely long delivery, abount a month. Will never buy anything in this shop again.
Vendor response: This tea is a good example of White Darjeelings. Taste is personal but this is a light tea. We are sorry you were disappointed.

The postal system from the UK to Switzerland can occasionally be slow but we cannot understand this considerable time taken. We hope your previous orders arrived more promptly.

  6. James Prescott

Service: Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, shame as the product is good. Will shop elsewhere in the future and advise my friends to do the same.
Vendor response: I am sorry you feel this way. I did explain promptly by email that there would be a delay whilst we awaited new stock. I emailed again to this effect a few days later and to confirm despatch. I then took the initiative to ring to check that you were receiving our emails. Without being able to check at the time, we did make a mistake in quoting courier delivery was by noon for which we apologise. We have offered to reimberse this courier charge.

  7. Luce Gilmore (verified owner)

Service: The four 100g bags arrived an a neat pizza-style box, just one day after ordering. Grey’s tea packaging is excellent: inner paper sacks, then aluminium foil, then mylar film on the outside. No messing! They got the tea to me just as fast as possible, as well-presented as possible.

  8. Paul Aylard

Service: Tea is excellent. Delivery can be a bit slow.
