It is a mysterious valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains deep in the Himalayas where man and nature live in perfect harmony. This inspires our sublime Shangri-La Tea Collection of the very best loose leaf teas.

China Oolong S E Chung. Grown in the Wuyi mountains of Fujian Province this oolong has a shorter fermentation time than other oolongs from this province, making it a greener, more herbacious style tea with a superb, delicate flavour.

Ceylon Dimbula Kenilworth. Carefully chosen tender tea leaves are picked after the first monsoon and are then processed in cooler weather resulting in Kenilworth’s unique creamy character. The rich flavour has hints of tobacco, cocoa and spice with fruity undertones. The leaves are long and beautifully twisted. Infuse for four minutes and drink with or without milk.

Darjeeling Monteviot 1st Flush. This first flush is produced at Monteviot, one of Darjeeling’s oldest tea gardens. The leaf is green and neat with a clean, fresh hay-like aroma. In the cup the golden infusion yields a lovely, highly drinkable, honeyish tea with little astringency and a long finish. Brew for four minutes without milk.

Assam Mangalam. Mangalam has an enthusiastic following and originates from the Nagaland province of Assam. Mangalam is bright, rich and has a full bodied maltiness and sufficient astringency to enable it to take milk well. A really great breakfast tea.

For delivery our standard shipping is second class post unless you choose an alternative option such as first class post or courier. Free UK shipping is available for orders over £30 and free first class post can be chosen for orders over £50.

Storing your tea

Store your tea with care by ensuring it is stored air-tight, away from heat, light, moisture and strong aromas. Our standard best-before period is one year from packing and all teas are packed to order.
